A pregnant woman who was killed when an angry man allegedly drove his vehicle into her family while they were in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store in suburban New York has been identified.

Thirty two-year-old Melissa Castillo DeLoatch was named by her family on a fundraising page that her cousin set up to raise money for the mother's burial and treatment for the rest of her family after the fatal incident that took place on February 20.

The authorities have alleged that 35-year-old Jason Mendez from Washingtonville, New York, was the man behind the wheel of the vehicle when he intentionally crashed into the pregnant woman, her husband Sean, and their six children, of which one was an infant in a stroller. ABC News reported that the family members mentioned DeLoatch was pregnant and she threw herself in front of the stroller carrying her youngest child.
