The upcoming episode of 'Power Book II: Ghost' is going to be one you absolutely can't miss. It's the penultimate episode of this season, y'all! Titled 'Monster, could this episode be any more of a tease? The last eight episodes or so have sort of beat around the bush, sidetracked, teased, and hinted at what everything is building up and will mount to as the finale rolls over. But a little calm before the storm is always necessary and that is exactly why the ever-so-explosive penultimate installment of the Power spinoff has been titled so significantly. Based on the show's schedule, the upcoming episode 9 of 'Power Book II: Ghost' will air on December 27 at 8 pm on Starz. For those extremely impatient and lucky with a subscription to the Starz app, much like the last eight episodes, the ninth one will roll out early on the app, available to stream on Starz.com as well as the clock strikes midnight 12:01 am ET on Sunday, December 27.
Not much has been teased about the episode with Starz yet to shell out even so much as an official synopsis but at the end of the previous episode 8 that just dropped on the Starz app, and based on the events of the said episode titled 'Family Matters', speculations are running rife with the title of the episode referring to the Tariq St. Patrick himself. It was inevitable, with his own father being the titular Ghost himself. But watching Tariq rise to the ranks of the 'Monster' trying to get his mother Tasha out of prison for taking his blame for killing Ghost has been an enticing journey so far, and as he accepts the monstrous levels he has climbed to, all hell is expected to break loose.
As the walls are closing in on Tariq and things are going to get much worse for I'm before the storm settles. While some have vested interest in him, others are suspicious of the Ghost progeny. Among the many things he has had to tackle is trying to keep his grades up, help Zeke, ensure his entrepreneurial venture doesn't go to waste, all of this while trying to get Tasha out of prison. It's expected that Tariq might lose his might at some point because for a man as young as him, a breakdown and burnout is inevitable given the many spheres he is handling.
Keeping in mind, this will be the calm before the storm of the season finale, and knowing Power's signature style the finales somehow also always tumble on to the second season, not much of this action will receive closure by the end of the spinoffs debut season, let alone the penultimate episode either.
