It was the most bizarre turn of events in 'Power Book II: Ghost'. The spinoff series featuring Michael Rainey Jr's Tariq at the center stage of all the drama took off on a wild rollercoaster ride. If fans thought that a show devoid of Ghost would be even remotely dull, they were wrong. The series continued after the events of Ghost's murder at Tariq's behest.

Tasha decided to take the fall for it, but obviously, no attorney bought the story. They knew that she was covering up for someone and they couldn't quite figure who and why. Who was Ghost's murderer?

Tasha was getting frantic to cover up for Tariq and then she did the unthinkable. She blamed the murder on Ghost's lifelong best friend, Tommy Egan. However, everything backfired on her and she returned to jail. It was a nerve-racking court scene and fans did not see that coming.

Most of them said that it served her right for trying to blame Tommy for everything. Tommy is alive and if he knew what Tasha had pulled he would kill her in a heartbeat. "Tasha threw Tommy under the bus & it backfired in the worst possible way. Thoughts & prayers #PowerGhost #PowerBook2," a fan tweeted.

"Tasha Really blamed my Man Tommy for the murder of his best friend cold blooded but Saxe really just setup his downfall and Tariq just gave McLean his biggest case #PowerBook2," another wrote.

"#PowerBook2 #PowerGhost Tommy I knew Tasha would throw him under the bus like see did La Kesh," a fan tweeted, referring to another of Tasha's many crimes.

One fan hoped Tommy would come and exact his revenge on Tasha. "I need for Tommy@JosephSikora4to come back, blow Tasha's brains out and go back to Cali
#PowerBook2," a fan tweeted.

"THE WAY MY MOUTH DROPPED...... Tasha you better run! Tommy bout to blow the roof off your a**. #PowerBook2 #PowerTV," one wrote.

Some just hoped that Tommy comes back to raise hell. "ALL OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED if Tariq ole slope head self would have never shot his father. Tasha deserves to be under the jail and I hope Tommy comes back and raises HELL!! #PowerBook2," another tweeted.

'Power Book II: Ghost' just got way more intense than we expected. The show airs on Starz on Sundays at 9 pm.
