Pornstar Bridget the Midget, who gave Rihanna a lap dance on her birthday, arrested for stabbing boyfriend
Pornstar "Bridget the Midget," who once gave singer Rihanna a lap dance, was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the leg during an altercation between the two.
Cheryl Murphy, 38, an adult film actress who was born with dwarfism and goes by a number of names, including Bridget Powers, was arrested in Las Vegas after her neighbors heard sounds of screaming and breaking glass coming from her home and alerted the police. She was charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon.
According to TMZ, when authorities arrived at her house, they found Murphy just wrapping up a heated spat with her boyfriend, whose name was not revealed. The man had sustained stab wounds to his leg and was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital. The exact area of the limb where he sustained the injuries was not mentioned.
The accused was booked in the Clark County Jail on $35,000 bond for the three charges, according to online records. It was not immediately clear when her arraignment has been scheduled for.
Murphy's first break as an adult film actress came in 1999, when she shot her first porn movie. Since then, she has gone onto act in at least 50 films in the adult industry. She also did cameos in mainstream projects like "S.W.A.T." and "The Surreal Life."
In 2010, she gave Rihanna a lap dance for her 22nd birthday. "She thought it was funny," one source said at the time, Mirror reported.
She was a proponent of protected intercourse as she maintained that she only wanted to do scenes where the male performers were wearing a condom. However, she admitted that her choice was not always respected as many of her co-actors would remove their condoms halfway through their scenes.
