Shocking new photographs and videos of a "woman who kicked a swan" and her alleged friend who "then pushed another onlooker into a canal" after the onlooker tried to intervene have recently been released to the public by several people who were at the scene. The authorities have launched a manhunt and have appealed for information about the pair who were amongst a group of ten people who were standing around the edge of the water in east London, on Friday, June 26, Daily Mail reveals.

Video footage captured of the incident features the woman appearing to kick the bird as an older man tries to step in and tell the group off. While the onlooker spoke to the group, a young man sporting a blue t-shirt appeared from the back and shoved him into the canal. The man who pushed the onlooker into the canal was also wearing a pair of black shorts and flip flops. Post the incident, he is seen riding away on his scooter as he shouts "have that".

Superintendent Andy Cox from the Metropolitan Police issued an appeal to track the two youths down after the animal cruelty. 10 youngsters were involved in the incident which took place in Limehouse. As reported by Mirror, UK, Cox shared, "Awful viewing. Animal cruelty is an indicator of many other vile behaviors and a tendency towards other forms of violence. The assault & anti-social behavior needs our action. Help us by letting us know who these offenders are via 101 or confidentially via crimestoppers."

It had initially been reported that the swan had been mating before the woman had kicked it but witnesses say that the two birds had been attacking one another. They also claim that many people had attempted to separate the two birds before the woman had intervened. One witness spoke to Daily Mail and shared, "I watched the entire episode and the swans were not mating, they were fighting to the death. One was the father of nine cygnets, who were nearby, and the other one was from a pair who were being territorial."

"They had been sparring for some time before crowds gathered and had sparred several times in previous days without a fight actually breaking out. The girl was trying to separate the swans to avoid one of them being killed," the witness added. "The one to pursue is the idiot boy in the blue shirt who pushed the man in the canal."

Another witness who was present at the scene shared, "I was there. I don't know any of the people involved, but I saw the whole thing. One swan was very definitely attacking the other. He (presumably) was biting the other's neck and attempting to submerge its head."

"This went on for an extended period of time, with onlookers attempting to break them up by making noise and after some time, throwing things. There was quite a sizable crowd on the bridge," the witness added. "Obviously this is irrelevant to the pushing into the water of the man who intervened. But the people involved were not just baiting the swans - it was an attempt to break up an attack," the witness continued.

The Metropolitan police have revealed that they are inquiring into the incident and also into the identities of the man and woman involved.
