Pink shaves off all her hair saying she's 'letting go' as Kate Hudson and Selma Blair praise her new buzzcut
Pink has decided to join the league of celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Selma Blair, and Amber Rose, by chopping off all of her gorgeous silver tresses and rocking an enviable buzzcut like the pro she is.
It isn't all that shocking or surprising that Pink would do something dramatic with her hair as we have grown accustomed to, and absolutely adore, her for all her hair choices.
This time, the singer seems to be "Letting go," as she captioned the photo of her new hairstyle on Instagram.
The 40-year-old mother shared a photo of her new buzzcut with her 7.3 million followers on Friday, December 6. The photo saw her with her head down and her hands cupped to hold the locks she is 'letting go' of.
The photo has already amassed a massive 627,000 likes.
Pink's galpals commented on the post in solidarity with the hairstyle. Kate Hudson and Selma Blair commented on her post too. "The most liberating!" remarked Hudson, while Blair cheered: "Twins!"
Popular Hollywood fitness trainer Jeanette Jenkins also complimented the singer's new style: "Damn girl. I know that feels good."
We have grown used to Pink's signature hairstyle with the sides closely shaven and the top coiffed up, so for anybody missing her old hair, worry not. Her daughter Willow is all a mini-dosages of her mama that you need as, just three months ago, the 8-year-old rocked the same side-shaved hairdo as Pink had sported through the years.
In September, Pink’s husband Carey Hart announced the development alongside a photo of Willow getting her head shaved, with the caption: "Loving my punk rock daughter. Remember everyone, fly your own flag. There is no box to be put in. It's better to be your own self. Own it, and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on. Can't wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce, companionate [sic], and caring. I’m so proud of you, Willow."
And proud should he be, as Willow, like her illustrious mother, is no stranger to taking a stand with dramatic hairstyles.
Just months ago, when Jessica Simpson was shaded online for her daughter dying the end of her tresses purple, Pink shared a photos of Willow getting her hair dyed blue. "I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored," she captioned it. "So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday."
