Yet another spicy clash on the cards as the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Houston Rockets in the final seeding game. The 76ers are coming off a loss to the Raptors (125-121) and so are the Rockets who lost 104-108 to Indiana Pacers. However, the Rockets are still at an advantage as they have pipped the 76ers in their last two clashes. Ahead of the scrimmage on Friday, here's everything you need to know about the encounter:

Time

The Rockets and 76ers game kicks-off at 9 pm ET on Friday, August 14, 2020.

Venue

The game will take place at the AdventHealth Arena, Orlando, FL.

Where to watch

The game will be televised live on ESPN and NBC Sports Philadelphia along with AT&T SPORTSNET - SOUTHWEST.

How to live stream

NBA TV is the easiest and most preferred option. YouTube TV is the second most looked at as it provides access to ESPN, TNT, ABC and NBA TV, as well as a good amount of regional sports networks, including those linked to Fox and NBC. Priced at $64.99, it comes across as a complete package. Other options include Sling TV and fuboTV that can be availed of at reasonable prices.

Pre-buzz around the 76ers and Rockets

While the 76ers had a good start, they failed to capitalize and are now facing the Rockets after three straight losses. Placed sixth in the Eastern conference, they will take on the Boston Celtics next. According to Winners and Whiners, there are quite the starts in the side who have been putting up great performances — Joel Embiid (23.2 points), Tobias Harris (19.6 points), Ben Simmons (16.4 points), Al Horford (11.9 points) and Josh Richardson (13.9 points) are massive contributors on the offensive side.

Except, they will be without Simmons who is out of the season after a partial dislocation of his kneecap that required surgery. At the other end, the Rockets may have lost to the Pacers, but they will shrug it off as a minor blip. In Westbrook and James Harden, they have proven matchwinners and there's ample support in the form of PJ Tucke, Eric Gordon and Danuel House Jr. The blow comes in the form of Westbrook's quad injury that's also going to see him miss the first few playoff games.

Who will win?

The first question will be how these teams pick their players. With the playoffs looming, the risk factors need to be eliminated and injury concerns will be on top of the list for both sides. Neither side can lose players and while Philadelphia just might dip into their reserves and see if they can eke out a confidence-boosting win. Our money's still on the Rockets though.
