PENSACOLA, FLORIDA: The Saudi Arabian airman who opened fire at a naval training center and killed three students was "infuriated" that one of his instructors made fun of his facial hair and referred to him as "porn stash" in front of his classmates, it has been revealed.

MEAWW previously reported that Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, a 21-year-old Saudi Royal Air Force Second Lieutenant, opened fire at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola on Friday, December 6, leaving three dead and at least 10 injured.

Now, the New York Times obtained a formal complaint he filed against his instructor James Day where he alleged that he was addressed as "Porn Stash" in front of at least 10 other students as they were being dismissed from meteorology class in April.

"I was infuriated as to why he would say that in front of the class," he wrote in the complaint, which he filed with the help of two American students. "Laughing, he continued to ask, 'What? Have you not seen a porn star before? After I did not respond, he just let go of the subject."

Alshamrani also reported the incident to managers of CAE USA, which was contracted to provide instructors to teach aviation students at the base. CAE allowed Day to continue teaching and offered to have him apologize to Alshamrani for the nickname, which the 21-year-old refused.

He complained again to CAE when he was paired with Day for simulated flight training a week after the incident and was given another instructor.

Day's employer, Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, a sub contractor to CAE, is cooperating with the FBI's investigation, and the company's president Brian Busey has insisted that the matter had been dealt with at the time. "Appropriate personnel action was taken regarding the incident in question, corrective action was taken, the matter was closed back in April, and we have no further comment," he said.

The investigation into the shooting has been officially characterized as a terrorism inquiry, with Rachel Roja, the special agent in charge of the agency’s Jacksonville office, stating that investigators were still searching for a motive for the attack. The 'Porn Stash' incident is thought not to be relevant to the investigation.
