Paul Walker's daughter Meadow shares sweet unseen video of her late father amid lockdown
Paul Walker's daughter Meadow surprised her social media fans and followers when she shared some never seen before footage of her late father.
Meadow, 21, shared the very uplifting video and revealed that she had never thought she would make the clip public but that it "felt right" to share. In the short clip, a younger Meadow is seen surprising her father for one of his birthdays.
In the video, Meadow shouts "Hi!" at her dad who leaps up at the sight of his daughter after opening a door. He then falls back on the bed in a fit of laughter clutching at his heart and saying "What?!" Meadow then wishes her father "Happy Birthday!"
As he reaches out to hug his daughter, Paul can be heard saying, "You just scared the hell out of me. What are you doing? No way." Meadow had captioned the adorable video clip, "I never thought I’d share this. But it felt right. Be good. I love you. Stay safe. xx."
Paul died in a tragic car accident only weeks after Meadow's 15th birthday in 2013. He was only 40-years-old at the time he died. Many of Meadow's fans and followers took to commenting on the video, saying how much it had touched them and made them miss Paul.
One user shared, "This video makes me wanna cry every time when I'm watching this... Rest in peace, Paul." Another user wrote, "thanks again for sharing sweet memories of your dad with us meadow ♥️ we love & support you endlessly."
A third added, "We love you meadow ♥️ he is always with you and we think of him every day he just is the best."
"Thank you, Meadow, for sharing this with us it touches me a lot to see how Paul he was with you I love him very much and I could never forget him in my whole life R.I.P Paul Walker," chimed in another user.
Meadow has worked hard at keeping her father's memory alive with the Paul Walker Foundation and had shared last month, that the organization was working with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help children with meals amid the coronavirus pandemic.
While announcing the partnership, Meadow had taken to social media to urge everyone to stay safe and say indoors. "Please stay home. This protects not only you, but everyone around you. We need to lookout for each other during this time. And all times. Lots of love, Meadow," she had written.
The charity and food bank are also helping raise money with a GoFundMe campaign that has managed to raise around $6,847 of $50,000 goal as of Wednesday, April 8.
On March 16, Meadow had taken to her Instagram to share a black and white throwback picture of her as a baby cuddling up to her father. In the photograph, Paul can be seen giving his daughter a kiss on the cheek as he lays down.
She had captioned the image, "Ultimate apocalypse buddy," in what appears to be a reference to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak that has gripped the world in its claws.
