Mother charged with murder for 'looking away' as her boyfriend killed their toddler son by punching him multiple times
The parents of a 1-year-old boy have been arrested and charged with felony murder after he was allegedly punched and killed by his father. The authorities said 20-year-old Jaimie Howard "chose to look away" as her 21-year-old boyfriend A'kym Henderson repeatedly punched their son, baby King, in the head.
The mother then took the baby to a nearby hospital in Macon, Georgia, early January 25 and claimed she found him unresponsive. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital and there were no visible signs of abuse on his body.
A post-mortem examination, however, found he had suffered from a head injury, reported the Daily Mail. According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Henderson was arrested that same day when an investigation found he had hit the baby.
