Pedophile couple molested children to 'spice up sex life' and were plotting a threesome with 5-year-old
A 33-year-old woman was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment for planning to abuse a five-year-old child as part of a warped fantasy to make her sex life interesting. Keeli Burlingham along with the Peter Taylor, 33, abused children routinely, and Taylor would ask Burlingham to dress as a schoolgirl as part of their sexual role play.
Taylor was jailed for 18 years and both the culprits were ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register and be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life. The pair, from Dunkinfield, Greater Manchester, reportedly used WhatsApp to exchange explicit messages about abusing children as young as five. Burlingham, on one occasion, took pictures of herself molesting a girl then sent them to Taylor when he was in Arizona celebrating his birthday.
Taylor also groped an 11-year-old in a swimming pool after he was sent covert pictures by Burlingham of the child getting undressed in a changing room.
The pedophile couple, who were in a relationship for three years, also plotted to have a threesome with a child, who lived in their neighborhood, according to the Mirror. The pair was arrested after they downloaded 5,035 explicit pictures of children off the internet, including 1044 in the most serious category A images.
According to prosecutors, Taylor, who worked for a car dealership, was the "prime mover" and manipulated Burlingham, a cafe worker, into carrying out the evil acts. Both the suspects reportedly blamed their conduct on being in a "low ebb" because of previous failed marriages.
"Throughout their relationship, they downloaded indecent images of children for their personal sexual gratification," prosecutor Michael Scholes said. "Taylor is a man who obtains sexual gratification from downloading such images it is obvious he was the prime mover although it is clear from the chat logs we all had the dubious pleasure of having to consider that Keeli Burlingham obtained sexual stimulation from viewing those too."
The child's mother, during an appearance at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester, slammed Burlingham as she and Taylor were sentenced to imprisonment for their sexual offenses. "I found it hard to understand that she could do something like that. I could understand if she wanted to harm me but she wanted to target the most important person in my life," the mother said.
"I struggle to trust anyone now. To me both of them have hurt me too much but it was the betrayal from Keeli that hurts the most. I didn’t understand what hatred was before this but I understand now. I have never been so angry in my life I don’t think I can get over this or let this lie. The only solace I have is that they are in prison and my child and other children are now safe."
The court heard that the couple met in 2016 through a dating website after breaking up with their spouses.
