Come September and the UFC Fight Night has an interesting matchup between Alistair Overeem and Augusto Sakai in the main event. The two fighters are quite easily the largest heavyweights in UFC and Sakai will be hoping to win against the Dutchman to be within touching distance of a title shot. However, Overeem is no pushover and is at 40, is in his peak, safe to say. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the clash.

Time

The fight is scheduled to start at 8 pm ET on Saturday, September

Venue

Both fighters will meet at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas for their showdown.

Where to watch?

The fight will be telecast live on ESPN

How to live stream?

ESPN+ is the most preferred option by UFC fans across the globe. At just $5 per month or $50 per year, the streamer can be used with Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, and Chromecast devices, as well as your computer’s web browser. YouTube TV is the other preferred option along with Hulu and Sling TV.

Pre-buzz around the fight

Overeem comes with three wins with his most recent being knocking out Walt Harris. His 46-18, 1 NC; 12-7 UFC record. Sakai comes in with less with a 15-1-1 record. He registered a split-decision win over Blagoy Ivanov at the UFC Apex in May and will be keen on getting the advantage on Overeem early on in the fight.
According to DAZN, Overeem, while promoting the event said, "The UFC belt is missing. But we have to be honest ... I'm running out of time. I think I can beat these guys. I think I can beat (UFC heavyweight champion) Stipe (Miocic). "I was very close at beating him four years ago and if I get another crack at him, I'll get him," he added. "So, it's really important to finish this fight in fashion and get one step closer to the belt."

Who will win?

While Sakai, at 29 has age on his side, Overeem boasts of experience. His recent KO of Harris will be a massive confidence booster while Sakai can use this as an opportunity to cement himself as someone ready for the big stage. He has showcased his skills and his power, so it will be a tough call to make. It just might be Overeem walking away with a win at the APEX facility.
