THE WEEK IN ONLYFANS: Single moms, new rivals, breaking stereotypes and bizarre requests

Whether you agree with it or not, one has to admit that OnlyFans has become a game-changer in the world of influencers. This weekly special feature will chart the ups and downs of some of the platform’s biggest celebs through the week as they take it off while keeping it switched on.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Almost every passing day brings with it a new OnlyFans success story. It could be a struggling wage worker looking to make ends meet, or a single mother hoping to provide her kids with the best life possible. Some cases stem from social ostracization and rebellion, while others simply thank their lucky stars for being blessed with the genes for beauty allowing them to make 'easy' money. Regardless, the career shift comes with a boatload of riches but also infamy.
The incentives are usually sufficient for beneficiaries to put their blinders on and brush off all the negativity that comes with the 'trade', but in many cases, the allure of a lucrative OnlyFans career could be short-lived. Social media influencers with sizeable followings have been jumping on the OnlyFans bandwagon for quite some time now. It's safe to say that very few walk away from the "easy" cash once they take their talents behind the paywall, but many wonder if the tide is turning.

Single mum buys third property in 15 months via OnlyFans
As discussed, OnlyFans has been a force for good in a multitude of cases. Single mom Lucy Banks recently bought her third property in 15 months after quitting her job as a banker for a risque career on the OnlyFans platform that reportedly earns her $2,500 a day. The Perth-based mother used her new career to secure her two sons a place on the property market before they even turned ten years old.
Lucy bought her first house at the end of 2021 and started building her second in September 2022. The 31-year-old has since saved a deposit for her third "dream home" for her and her children without using the equity from the first two properties. Furthermore, she has several other online businesses that she runs from home that allows her to live comfortably while also being available to take care of her kids.
"I bought my absolute dream home for my kids and I. We'll never move again, we'll stay there forever," Lucy told Daily Mail Australia. "It is massive and has room for all our family and friends there. Even some chickens! I'm really proud to have done this and shown my kids that mum will always make it work for them." The mother-of-two acknowledged how far she had come from a couple of years ago when she divorced her ex-husband with nothing to her name and her kids to look after.
Lawyer quits job after raking in a fortune via secret OnlyFans account
In yet another success story, Jazmen Jafar quit her career in law after making a fortune on OnlyFans. The model, despite growing up in California, was raised by Persian immigrant parents who instilled within her their values of modesty and education and hoped she would embrace "the corporate world." At some point, however, the 28-year-old began feeling trapped by her future. She eventually stumbled upon another path that would make her financial dreams come true.
“Some classmates and I got talking about OnlyFans and I was curious,” the popular model told NudePR. “In Persian culture, it’s expected that we make our parents proud and pursue academic success," she explained. “I did well at school but I craved freedom, and being able to express myself in a different way. Every time I thought about sitting behind a desk for the rest of my life, I’d break out in a cold sweat.”
Jazmen decided to start her OnlyFans account in secret, only revealing it to a couple of her pals. She hoped to make some extra cash on the side, but her new venture blew up almost overnight. The Persian beauty raked in a whopping $50,000 in her first few months. In 2023, she is reportedly making six figures a month.
Jazmen now wants to use her platform to inspire change and break stereotypes about her culture. “One person asked if my family wanted to honor kill me and some people comment asking if I have been disowned, but that isn’t the reality for most modern immigrant families," she said. “So many Middle Eastern people live secret lives, hiding their sexuality or dating lives because their families won’t understand. I want to be an example of living your truth. Every woman has the right to choose who they want to be and if that is covered head-to-toe, that’s fine. But so is taking your clothes off," she added.
Model quits OnlyFans after receiving requests to sell her breast milk
While it might be the perfect platform to make an easy buck, OnlyFans has its downsides. Influencer Juju Ferrari is among those who decided to quit the subscription-based website after revealing she's been receiving an overwhelming number of bizarre requests.
The model posted a statement to her Instagram, where she is approaching the five million mark in terms of followers. “Guys, I’ve waited a while to talk about this because I needed to process what happened, but I think the time has come for me to reveal to you why I left OnlyFans," she wrote. The mother-of-four admitted that the money she was making on OnlyFans helped a lot, but that the bizarre requests went too far, especially after the birth of her youngest child. “They only got worse after my last pregnancy," she said of the requests.
"I have never spoken publicly about this, but I decided to leave the platform after I was asked to sell my breast milk," she revealed. According to the Brazilian bombshell, that was the "last straw." She added, "After that, I realized that they had no more reason for me to stay there. That’s why I preferred to walk away from the platform and stay here alone.”
‘World’s hottest gran’ leaves ‘smutty’ OnlyFans for rival platform
OnlyFans also may have some brainstorming to do considering there are new competitors on the horizon. Gina Stewart, who has been dubbed the world's hottest grandma, recently revealed how she has left the x-rated site because it has become too "smutty." The 52-year-old said she made the move at the right time in order to create classier content on an alternate subscription-based website launched by Playboy.
Gina, who hails from the Gold Coast, Australia, recently joined the Hugh Hefner publication's new website Centerfold, for which adult models are exclusively vetted and cherry-picked. The legendary magazine is venturing into the online realm following the demise of its print version three years ago. The new platform has reportedly already poached several big names such as ex-Playmate Amanda Cerny, former Playboy cover girl Gabby Epstein and 'Bachelor In Paradise' star Megan Marx. Models, however, must be individually approved by the company's editorial team to ensure they fit the bill.
Gina told The Sun that she believes Centerfold heavily outshines OnlyFans in all aspects. According to her, the latter has "lost its luster" off late. "I actually think OnlyFans is a great platform, but now - due to so many people joining and all of the hardcore pornography - it's lost its luster a bit," she insisted. "I prefer the more glamorous appeal that Playboy offers. My content will be very Playboy-esque and glamorous. It's going to give OnlyFans a run for its money. Let’s bring back glamour and move away from smutty content. Nudity, not pornography," the blonde beauty added.
