Fans around the world were treated to a spectacular online music concert on Saturday night, April 18, as hundreds of celebrities and special musical guests all turned out to make for a memorable night of entertainment. It was all for a good cause too -- the massive online concert was curated by Lady Gaga in collaboration with Global Citizen and WHO as a thank you to health care professionals who were battling the COVID-19 crisis on the front lines.

The musical extravaganza succeeded in raising millions of dollars for charity during the six-hour-long pre-concert live coverage itself. Stephen Colbert, one of the late-night TV show hosts emceeing the event along with fellow talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel & Jimmy Fallon, noted that they had already raised over 50 million dollars when the main live musical broadcast started at 8  pm ET.

Everyone from Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John to Lizzo and Kacey Musgraves turned out for the special event, and thousands of comments were flooding social media as each and every musical performance prompted a wave of approval from online viewers. Just some of the performers from the star-studded line up included Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, Stevie Wonder, Keith Urban, Chris Martin, Taylor Swift, the Roots, the Rolling Stones, and even some adorable Muppets.

Fans online were saying "Lady Gaga is a literal angel on earth. She didn’t make this about her, she included so much information and diversity in the people featured. God, I love her. #TogetherAtHome." Some listeners were really moved and posted, "I love the diversity of talent on #TogetherAtHome. Honestly, crying through the whole thing."

Many excited fans posted their approval and gratitude - "That was the most beautiful thing I’ve watched. So much diversity and representation... Too many vocals for me to only post one video. #AMAZING. NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. THANK YOU GAGA." Other admirers also tweeted "Seriously loving the diversity in performances and appearances on #TogetherAtHome."

Probably the best example of diversity came with the show-stopping final performance of the concert, which featured the pianist Lang Lang performing with the melodious voices of the soul icon John Legend and the magnanimous Lady Gaga herself, along with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and music diva Celine Dion. Together, they all sang a moving rendition of 'The Prayer', made famous by the latter two angelic-voiced performers. It was a fitting conclusion to a hugely successful musical event that will live long in our collective memories.
