In the second episode of 'One Day' on Netflix, Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew take divergent paths, contemplating the future and facing the unknown.

Emma Morley wants to become a writer

In ‘One Day’ Episode 2, Emma is seen with an amateur theater group in the West Midlands. She spends her days going to primary schools and putting on performances about social issues for children.

However, Emma is not happy with her career. She dreams of becoming a real writer. The theater group’s director, Garry, offers her a job on the new play. However, she wants to move back to London and fulfill her dream of becoming a writer.

Emma writes a letter to Dexter, confessing that acting isn't for her.
