A horror mother tortured her one-month-old baby girl because she was 'crying too much' court records state.

Lea Robinson was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma after she allegedly bit the infant's face, punched her, and scalded her bottom in hot water out of frustration after she wouldn't stop crying.

Authorities were alerted after her daughter was treated at Saint Francis Hospital for severe diaper rash and a bruised face, WSET reports.

According to the Tulsa County inmate information center, Robinson was arrested on February 17 for "child abuse by injury.”

A report alleging child abuse was lodged at Saint Francis Hospital on October 7, 2019, after Robinson brought the baby to be treated for said injuries when she was just one month old, court documents said.

A doctor at the hospital found that the bruising on the infant's face was the result of a vicious bite mark.

Court documents added that Robinson allegedly admitted to a DHS worker how she had punched her baby girl after she couldn't cope with her constant crying.

Furthermore, the mother also allegedly said that she bathed her daughter in water that she knew was boiling hot, which explained the burns on the baby's bottom.

DHS officials and law enforcement grew suspicious after the Tulsa, Oklahoma resident allegedly changed her story multiple times about how her baby was injured, according to a report by KTUL. This was because the child's wounds were inconsistent with her version of what had happened.

At the time of her injuries, which included severe diaper rash possibly due to hygiene issues, the baby girl was living with Robinson.

That said, Lea Robinson is remanded in custody on a complaint of child abuse by injury in lieu of a $50,000 bond. According to Tulsa County, she is due to appear in court on February 25.
