Athletics vs Angels: Mike Trout puts 'daddy power' to use for LA, fans aren't sure which planet he's from
It was just another day in the park for Mike Trout and guess he's still celebrating the birth of son, Beckham Aaron Trout. While the Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics game turned out to be a high-scoring affair, Trout's pyrotechnics has the MLB world stunned. Here are a few stats from the game on August 10 that saw Trout help the team to a 10-9 win. (Stats courtesy: Pro Sports Outlook Twitter). Nicknamed "the Millville Meteor", Trout was always touted as a big-game winner and he has done exactly that this season.
(i) Hit 2-run HR when trailing by 5 & go-ahead HR in the 8th
(ii) Tied for most multi-HR games (20) in Angels history
(iii) 58 HR over his last 162 games played
(iv) Batting .367 w/ 1.373 OPS & 6 HR as a Father (7 GP)
Now on to the reactions on Twitter that just couldn't believe what Mike Trout did. "Trout has been a father for just 7 games, and now he’s gone 11-30 6HR 10RBI 2BB 6K ever since Beckham Aaron Trout blessed this earth. Not sure what planet you’re daddy is from."

And sometime's there's nothing you can do when the GOAT is on fire. "And still had to score 10 runs to win the game. Imagine being a pitcher on that staff and having to sit in the same clubhouse as Mike Trout. Every time he walks by you just have to shrug your shoulders and say 'sorry man', read one of the tweets.

Forget the planet he's from, Twitterati is extremely sure Trout isn't human. "Mike Trout is slugging .741 and has an OPS of 1.124 I’d normally ask how a human being could do this, but we all already know Mike Trout isn’t human."

However, this fan in particular, just lamented Trout's talents were wasted with the Angels. "Here’s what’s not close: how wasted his talent is. The Angels have been perennial disappointments since Arte Moreno took over," he opined.

Just last week, Trout homered on his 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th and 29th birthdays and it does seem like he's in no mood to stop. For some fans, it was the dad strength. "Trout continues to be on an absolute tear ever since he returned from paternity leave #DadStrength #GoAngels," read one of the tweets.
