'NOS4A2' Season 2 Episode 8: Teary-eyed fans praise cast for 'outstanding acting' in emotion-high episode
Spoilers for 'NOS4A2' Season 2 Episode 'Chris McQueen'
This episode of 'NOS4A2' was probably the "toughest" to watch as fans would call it. Not only did we lose Chris McQueen (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) but the actors did an incredible job bringing this heart-wrenching episode to life. From Vic McQueen's (Ashleigh Cummings) relationship with her father Chris to serial killer Bing Partridge's (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) ability to make you feel sorry for him, the actors have portrayed their characters impeccably. After shedding more than a few tears, fans took to Twitter to congratulate the actors on the incredible performance along with thanking the writers for an amazing script.
"#nos4a2 was insane tonight. Things happened that weren't expected at all. @jami_obrien you truly have made this a truly amazing show for tv, thank you. @OlafurDarri you have done creepy well as Bing. @SlaylerJ you are truly gifted. Ashleigh is another talented actress. Whats next," wrote one fan, with another adding, "#NOS4A2 every episode this season had me crying. No joke."

Some fans couldn't believe that Bing, known as the Gas Mask Man, managed to get arrested by the police and almost killed by both Manx and Chris but still managed to pull at our heartstrings. Last week's episode gave us an insight into Bing's troubled childhood which probably gives many a better understanding of his childlike yet notorious behavior in helping Manx kidnap and kill children. Although, he did try to turn a leaf and help Wayne, who unfortunately had already started to morph into a child from Christmasland making him more loyal to Manx than any of his family members.
Either way, Bing, is an excellent character with too many complicated levels to comprehend. "I love Bing's character just not the bad things he does. Plus I absolutely love @OlafurDarri he's an excellent actor! #NOS4A2," wrote one fan, with another adding, "So good. The layers of different emotions he went through. I almost am feeling compassion for Bing. Almost. #NOS4A2." Another fan added, "The ability Bing has to make you feel sad for him, be appalled by him, hate him, and have compassion for him is a true testament to @OlafurDarri amazing acting. #NOS4A2""

This season of 'NOS4A2' has been one hell of a ride, with many twisted scenes. From hitting on hard themes such as sexual abuse and alcoholism, it also speaks volumes on the incredible talent of the cast and team. "Tonight’s episode of @NOS4A2 had one of the toughest endings I’ve seen on TV in some time #NOS4A2," wrote one fan. Another fan added, "I mean, I’m gonna need for Vic to get a win at some point. She’s been catching nothing but L’s all season long. My hopes for a “happy ending” grow dimmer but the episode. Side note...GREAT episode. The performances (by everyone) were OUTSTANDING! #ChrisMcQueen #NOS4A2."
"Unreal. This week's episode was just unreal. I can’t get over how incredible this series is. I’m upset there are six days separating me from the next episode. @EbonChe, you have been a true blessing to watch. #NOS4A2," tweeted another emotional fan bidding goodbye to Chris McQueen, the father who was the best possible dad he could be till his death.
