NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jimmy Fallon and Jared Leto share a "next level" moment as the 'Morbius' actor scales the Empire State Building to reveal his upcoming Thirty Seconds to Mars world tour, leaving fans in splits.

The actor and frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars executed the stunt on Thursday, November 9, becoming the first to do so, as confirmed by USA TODAY, to publicize the band’s 2024 Seasons World Tour.

The tour, marking the band’s first since 2019, is in promotion of their latest album, 'It's The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day'.

Jared Leto and Jimmy Fallon’s memorable Empire State Building climb

The star of Morbius embarked on a daring climb from the 86th to the 104th floor of the building, a journey of nearly 1,300 feet into the sky that took approximately 20 minutes.

In a memorable video clip, Jimmy Fallon is seen rising from his work desk, casually dressed, and peering out of his window towards the Empire State Building.

He appears puzzled and rubs his eyes upon spotting a man in a red jumpsuit, who is later revealed to be Jared Leto.

The duo then shares amusing gestures and silent exchanges, all set against the backdrop of a song with the lyrics, 'When I wake up in the morning… I see your eyes …Rosanna, Rosanna… All I wanna do in the middle of the evening … Is hold you tight … Meet you all the way'.

Fallon encourages the actor with a shout of "You got this, dude!" which Leto initially fails to hear. Fallon then resorts to displaying a placard with the words, 'You got this!', ensuring his message gets across.

"I can't believe I did it either," said Jared Leto. "We just put a brand-new single, called "Seasons." We're putting it out now, on Monday."

"And we have a huge announcement today. And this is the reason I climbed the Empire State Building, because Thirty Seconds to Mars, after six years, we're going back on the road. We announced a world tour," the actor added.

Jared continued, "Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated with the Empire State Building. It, to me, was a symbol of New York City, and New York City was a symbol of a place that you go to make your dreams come true. I love this city, and I always wanted to live here. I always wanted to be an artist."

"And you know, for me -- And I don't know if it was King Kong or if it was, like, the Guinness World Record, but there was something about that building. I even had, like, a little toy when I was a kid -- a little metal replica."
