The New York Mets are smarting. First, it was a series loss to the New York Yankees, and then the Miami Marlins pipped them in a single game. Now they will be keen to make up for those losses by registering some wins against the Baltimore Orioles who're on a slump themselves. They lost the series against the Blue Jays and will take on the Mets in a two-game series followed by a tussle with the Yankees. While their defense did show promise, they will be keen on improving.
