Pornographic photos of New Jersey girl, 17, missing for over a week appear on sex trafficking website
Aviana Weaver, 17, from Westhampton Township was last seen on September 12 at her home. Her mother reported her missing the next day.
The police in New Jersey are searching for her and now the mother says that her daughter's X-rated photographs have been discovered on sex trafficking websites.
According to reports, Angelica Scarlett says it was on September 20 that she received a text message from an unknown number saying it was from her daughter and added that she was being held against her will.
She said her daughter's cellphone was last pinged in the area of 242 South 49th Street in West Philadelphia on September 15 but has since been deactivated. Efforts made to contact her after that have been in vain.
On September 15, the mother reported that there was a possible sighting of her daughter in the area of Broad Street and Erie Avenue in Philadelphia. She then headed to the location to conduct a search on foot and handing out fliers to passersby until 1 am on September 16, but to no avail.
She told New Jersey 101.5 that investigators found her pornographic images depicting the 17-year-old looking complete upset and unhappy.
According to her mother, it is very unlikely that her daughter just disappeared as she didn't have a history of running away.
"This is her senior year. She went to school for the first few days and then disappeared," Scarlett said. "She missed an eye doctor appointment. She doesn't have any clothes. This is not like her. She hasn't been known to be on any drugs. We don't have family or friends in Philadelphia. It's completely out of character and scary."
Weaver is a senior at Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and is described as bi-racial and Hispanic, 5-foot-4 tall, weighing 200lbs, with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a nude-colored tank top, black jeans, and leopard-print slides.
