'Stranger Things' cast wish Sadie Sink on her 17th birthday, grateful to have her in their lives

Sadie Sink turns 17 today, and her friends and co-stars are unable to process the fact that the actress is barely a year away from her adulthood

Sadie Sink is the center of attraction for all the 'Stranger Things' kids, as the actress who plays Max Mayfield on the Netflix show turns 17-years-old today. Max was introduced to us in season 2 of the show created by the Duffer Brothers, and her unconventional approach towards life quickly made her one of our most favorite characters on the show. Although Max and Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, did not start off on a very strong note in season 2, Brown and Sink quickly developed a strong friendship offscreen. As expected today, Brown posted a long message for her friend and co-star, followed by Noah Schnapp and Gaten Matarazzo, who also took to Instagram to wish Sink.

The long post, Brown suggested was a symbol of her love for Sink as she couldn't be with her today. While claiming how strong their bond as friends are, Brown teased about some kind of marriage pact the two had. She wrote, "I feel like I don't need to speak and [you] know how I'm feeling... that's my sister ♡ we got a pact to get married and move to the south of France... with a farm. it will happen." Brown went on to post some pictures of her most precious moments with Sink, including, "dressed in couple Halloween costumes", when they first met and she "wanted to spend time and learn more about [her]", and when they play pretended where Brown barks and Sink poses as her owner. Check out Brown's heartfelt message below:

On the other hand, Noah Schnapp who plays the ever victimized Will Byers on the show posted a heartfelt story about Sink, where he thanked her for treating him to mac and cheese. While praising her talent on making mac and cheese, the actor wrote, "thanks for being my mom, and making me mac and cheese, and helping me clean up my mess!" It seems Sink has been quite the mother-figure for Schnapp as the actor mentioned that she has been there for him through thick and thin.

Matarazzo, who plays the character Dustin Henderson on the show, also shared his love for Sink in a brief yet lovely post. It was truly heart-warming to see the two together considering it was last season when Dustin had to give up the only girl he ever crushed on for his best friend Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin). In the final scene of season 2, we witnessed as Max danced around with Lucas, and a heartbroken Dustin finally found comfort in the girl, who he was attracted to back in season 1, Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer).

'Stranger Things' season 3 returns to Netflix July 4, and it will be quite amazing to see the kids finally enter their teenhood.
