'You' Season 2: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything you need to know about Netflix's stalker thriller show

The new love interest for charming Joe Goldberg is Love Quinn in season two. Here's everything we can expect from the creepy stalker in the second edition of 'You'

The creepy stalker and selective 'part-time' killer Joe Goldberg is back on 'You'. The psychotic drama thriller that dropped on Netflix in December 2018 is returning for a second edition.

The series is based on an obsessive stalker who works a "noble job" in a book store but has a dark secret of his own. We learn soon enough in season one that he's a psycho who becomes dangerously obsessed with a girl he falls in love with. So much so that he kills her off at the end of season one. Here's everything we know about season two:

Release

'You' Season 2 will release on December 26 on Netflix

Plot

Season two will also be adapted from Caroline Kepnes novel 'Hidden Bodies', which is the sequel to the book 'You' that season one was based on. This season will follow Joe Goldberg as he moves to a new place and begins a new life in search of "love" yet again. The OCD stalker will, in fact, find love in an aspiring chef by the name Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).

Quinn's character is very different from that of Beck's ( Elizabeth Lail) from the previous season. Viewers will see a different side to Joe as he tackles this venture of love. Quinn is not on any social media platform. This will come as a major drawback to Joe's stalking identity, which may show us his other skills in this new chapter of obsession. The return of Candace (Ambyr Childers), Joe's ex, who only appeared in his hallucinations as another victim to his killer, psychotic wrath. But the end of season one revealed her shocking return, which gives more expectations to the plot of season two.
