TULUM, MEXICO: The highly anticipated second season of 'Perfect Match' has just been released on Netflix, causing a frenzy among fans who can't seem to get enough of the hit dating show.

As the latest installment unfolds, viewers are once again immersed in the world of competitive dating where singles are paired up to face a series of compatibility challenges, all while being guided by the charming host, Nick Lachey.

The intense competition, drama, and unexpected twists have captivated audiences and sparked discussions across social media platforms. It's safe to say that 'Perfect Match' Season 2 is shaping up to be a must-watch for anyone looking for their next binge-worthy obsession.

One of the individuals seeking genuine love on the reality show is Dom Gabriel. Nonetheless, it appears that the viewers of the show are displeased with Dom's comeback, considering he previously won 'Perfect Match' Season 1 with his partner Georgia Haserarrti.

An X user said, "Bringing Dom on perfect match season 2 when he already won season 1 is so unfair. He made good TV on The Mole but he ain’t good enough TV to keep bringing him back on these dating shows like this."

Another user went on to say, "I thought Dom found his perfect match with Georgia… why is he back on season 2."

A user shared, "Dom is in his "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" era on Perfect Match season 2 not impressed. "

A fourth user quipped, "Dom is back! He don’t like… never mind."

What happened between 'Perfect Match' stars Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati split?

Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati emerged as the winners of 'Perfect Match' Season 1, but their relationship came to an end shortly after the show ended. Despite appearing to be a perfect match on the show, their breakup was not amicable.

It was speculated that their long-distance relationship, with Georgia living in Australia and Dom in Toronto, played a role in their split. However, there were also rumors of more sinister reasons behind their breakup.

Georgia moved on to date Harry Jowsey, but there were allegations of overlap between her relationship with him and her previous one with Dom. Instead of handling the situation privately, Dom took to social media to publicly air his grievances against Georgia. This led to a messy fallout that affected everyone involved in the situation.

Following the revelation of Georgia and Harry's romantic involvement becoming public knowledge, Dom Gabriel decided to publicly call out Georgia on social media.

In a video posted on the @toohotnetflix account, Dom claimed that he and Georgia had ended their relationship before they could enjoy the prize they had won together, which was a fully paid trip.

While Georgia spoke highly of Dom, she also hinted that they were at different points in their relationship. Dom insisted that they were still together and in communication when Georgia made an appearance on Harry's podcast, but he felt betrayed when the episode was titled "Georgia and Harry Jowsey Fall in Love."

In the podcast, Georgia opened up about her bond with Harry and elaborated on why their relationship was successful. Following the release of a "where are they now" video, Georgia took to Instagram to address Dom's accusations.

She claimed that Dom never mentioned any issues regarding the podcast title to her and accused him of having dinner with Ines Tazi on the same night she returned from recording the podcast.

Georgia also insinuated that Dom and Ines had maintained contact after the show ended and might currently be in a romantic relationship. While it turned out that Ines and Dom were not dating.

Dom Gabriel failed to find love in 'Perfect Match' Season 2

During his stint on the second season of 'Perfect Match', Dom Gabriel initially coupled up with Tolu Ekundare. However, their relationship hit a roadblock when Dom decided to send Tolu on a date with another contestant so he could pursue a connection with Alara Taneri.

Ultimately, Alara ended up coupling up with Stevan Ditter, leading to Dom's departure from the show during the fifth episode.

In a confessional, Dom said, "It feels bittersweet leaving because I did come here to find my person but I made the decision that led me here. And that's okay, you know, that's on me. I'm not trying to throw a pity party for me or anything."

"I mean I try I try to be hopeful when it comes to finding somebody. I feel like I know my worth now as a partner and I do feel deserving of love. So you know, I'm not giving up on it yet. I'll see you guys in the finale," he further added.
