Canadian-born singer-songwriter and self-described activist Neil Young has shared the third installment of his ongoing at-home music series 'Fireside Sessions'. Like the first and second editions of the show, the third concert was filmed at his Telluride, Colorado home that he shares with his wife, actress Daryl Hannah. Viewers are treated to some clips of Young's excited dogs having some fun in the snow around their home before Young performs acoustic deep cuts and rarities from his extensive catalog in and around the house, including an acoustic guitar performance near a fireplace outside as well as playing the piano in the warm snug of his home.

This comes as the first 'Fireside Session' in two weeks. “There was a brief delay, as my lovely wife was ill for several days and had to isolate herself, even during isolation,” the musician explains in a post on his Neil Young Archives site. “It proved particularly challenging on the food front, however she recovered, all is well now and we’re back on track," he says.

In the first edition of the show, Young gave his first performance of the Hawkes & Doves deep cut 'Little Wing' since 1977 as well as a performance of the 1974 non-album cut 'Love/Art Blues' for the first time since 2008, along with fan favorites 'Tell Me Why', 'Razor Love' and 'Vampire Blues'. On his second installment, he sang the Ian and Sylvia classic 'Four Strong Winds' as well as his songs 'On the Beach' and 'Birds'.

In Young's latest concert he once again performed selections from across his discography such as 'New Mama' and 'World On A String', from his 1975 LP 'Tonight’s The Night, 'See The Sky About To Rain', from 1974 LP 'On the Beach, 'I Am A Child' (from 'Buffalo Springfield'), 'Helpless', ('CSNY'), 'Already One' ('Comes A Time'), and 'Throw Your Hatred Down' from 'Mirror Ball', the 1995 album he made with members of Pearl Jam.

Young said that Daryl Hannah shoots and edits their 'Firesides Sessions' entirely on her iPad, after which, she leaves it outside their door, where a friend in protective gear picks it up and transports it to town to use the internet to upload the video. The original idea was to Livestream the shows, but the bandwidth at their home was too low.

According to Variety, Neil Young performed with Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews on Sunday (April 11) on an AXS TV special 'At Home with Farm Aid' with an aim to provide aid for family farmers in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
