Spoilers for ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 7 Episode 8

Finally! After weeks of waiting, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ will have a new episode today. Episode 7 of ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 7 aired on January 17. The episode saw a Navy therapist with a high level of security clearance murdered. Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and the team discover while investigating that she was working around the system to get justice for victims of sexual assault.

On the other side, Special Agent Quentin Carter’s (Charles Michael Davis) mother Maggie (Alicia Simmons Miracle) confronted him when he refused to talk to the FBI for a background check on her behalf. Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich) began forming a bond with a key witness who was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.

What will happen in ‘Leda and the Swan, Part II’? 

Titled ‘Leda and the Swan, Part II’, the episode, as per the official synopsis, will see Pride and the team continue the investigation of an officer’s assault and the murder of her therapist. The team will zero in on a prime suspect who’s been working the system for years. Also, Carter and his mother will talk about how they’ll move forward after a past mistake, and Sebastian will begin a promising new relationship.

A promo for the episode sees Pride getting coffee for Special Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan) after she has worked all night on the case. When Pride asks her if she has any leads, Hannah says that most leads ended up at dead ends. But she also discovered that the night the therapist died, several of her male colleagues were out partying at a place less than a mile from where she was murdered. Suddenly, a theory materializes and they have something to work on!



 

In another promo video, we see them examining the two possible suspects from the list of the men partying on the night of the murder. Hannah tells Special Agent Quentin Carter (Charles Michael Davis) about the men and they formulate a plan to keep an eye on them and observe suspicious behavior. But they decide not to do anything as of yet. 



 

Aside from the regular cast, the episode will also feature Erica Gimpel as Lynette, Sasha Diamond as Fiona, Maximiliano Hernandez as Ted, Melissa Saint-Amand as Emily Tascioni, Chet Hanks as Liam McCall, Jared Gray as Angelo Coleman, Eduardo Vildasol as Theo Desmond, Christin Rankins, Brittany Cook, and Aria Catillo in guest roles in the episode.

When will ‘Leda and the Swan, Part II’ air?

As per CBS, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 7 Episode 8, written by Sydney Mitchel and directed by Tim Andrew, will air on Sunday, February 14 -- Valentine’s Day -- from 10 pm to 11 pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. As per the CBS schedule, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 7 Episode 9, ‘Into Thin Air” is scheduled to air on Sunday, February 21 at the usual time. The episode will see Pride and the team on the hunt for a kidnapped 14-year-old. They will discover that her father, who will soon have custody of her, is a radical survivalist living off the grid.
