'Weakest Link': Shaun ousted after failing to answer who Slim Shady is, fans say 'walk of shame has your name'

Shaun, who is a firefighter by profession, assured Jane and the other contestants that he knew the response, but couldn't say it due to stress

Most people would know who the real Slim Shady is irrespective of whether they follow rap music or not. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about Shaun, a contestant on the latest episode of NBC's 'Weakest Link'. When the show's host, Jane Lynch, asked Shaun the real name of rapper Slim Shady, he fumbled and couldn't reply. All the other contestants were appalled on seeing that he didn't know the answer to the question.

Later, Jane informed him that Eminem was the rapper who also goes by the name of Slim Shady. Shaun, who is a firefighter by profession, assured Jane and the other contestants that he knew the response, but couldn't say it due to stress. When Jane pointed out that as a firefighter he must be quite used to being quick due to his profession, Shaun joked saying just physically and not mentally. Unfortunately, Shaun's lack of response to the Slim Shady question cost him his spot on the show. His fellow contestants voted him out at the end of the first round saying that he was the 'Weakest Link'. Fans too agreed with his fellow contestants and felt that he deserved to be voted out for not knowing the answer to Slim Shady's real name.

A fan tweeted, "I don’t blame the team for voting Shaun off 1st - HOW do you NOT know who the real Slim Shady is??? He really did lose himself in the moment like Ray Evernham #WeakestLink." Another fan wrote, "SHAUN NEEDS TO KNOW EMINEM!!! #WeakestLink." "who doesn't know who the real slim shady is? #WeakestLink," wondered a fan.

Another fan shared, "Shaun, the team had enough of you. The walk of shame has your name written in it. With 4 votes you are the weakest link. Good bye! #WeakestLink." "#WeakestLink PLEASE vote out the guy who didn't know Eminem was Slim Shady..," expressed a fan. "Shaun... You have failed. Please leave now. #Inquizition #WeakestLink," declared a fan.

'Weakest Link' features eight contestants who answer various general knowledge questions to bank prize money across multiple rounds. At the end of each round, the contestants vote out who they perceive to be the 'Weakest Link' remaining.

'Weakest Link' airs every Monday at 10/9c only on NBC.
