President Donald Trump's State of the Union address, which continued for over an hour on Tuesday night, had many moments which became talking points on social media, however, netizens pointed out one particular moment which did not include the president at all, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Fresh from her triumph over Trump over the shutdown impasse — wherein the president had to walk back on his demand for a wall to open the government — Pelosi seems in no mood to let Trump get off the hook.
This was apparent to many when at one moment during Trump's address, Pelosi stood up and appaluded at a line from the president's speech in a manner which appeared rife with sarcasm.
