'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet' is all set to release on Apple TV+ On February 7, Friday. The show is primarily a workplace comedy that focuses on the lives of a group of people behind a popular video game business.

MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) caught up with actor Dani Pudi at the premiere, who is well-known for his lovable portrayal of Abed on the show 'Community'. In 'Mythic Quest', Pudi practically plays the anti-thesis of Abed.

Pudi has worked with Executive Producer Megan Ganz before on 'Community'. Speaking about working with her again, he said, "It's been amazing, fulfilling, exciting and hilarious. It's been a joy. I was so excited to jump back in. She's an incredible writer, and this cast was phenomenal."

He continued, "I love being part of an ensemble comedy. Everyone brings a different unique energy to this project. It's a different world. Being able to jump in  behind the scenes, and see how video games are created, and I get to play a new character. I get to play the person everyone hates."

Asked whether he is actually a gamer, Pudi said, "I'm not a huge gamer. I used to play games as a kid, but then once I had kids, I had to stop. I play games with my son like Clash Of Clans. As a kid, I used to play Zelda, Tetris. All those games. I love them. It's fun to go back and relive my youth."

Talking about his role in the show, he said, "It's really great for me, because my character might be the only one who hasn't played the game, he's more interested in the money."

He added, "I play the head of monetisation, so I'm all about micro-transactions and that's been fun to learn about because I didn't know it's such a complicated world."

So what will people take back with them after watching the show? Pudi answered, "The show is set in the world of video games, but it's really about a group of people in an office, bunch of co-workers....so I hope people find someone relatable to them."

He continued, "I think everyone in the ensemble provides a different point of view, I think we're all very odd characters, which I think people will enjoy, which they might hopefully relate to. The video game adds immediacy to it, something that is actually very relevant in the world."

"Everyone plays games and has grown up with them. It's nice to see how far they've come. That's the backdrop, obviously, it's a pretty dramatic backdrop. At the end of the day, I hope people just laugh at the silliness in the office," he added.

About how it felt to work with 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' producers Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney on 'Mythic Quest', Pudi said,  "It was such a dream. I watched 'Always Sunny'. I continue to watch it. I always admired their playfulness. You can just feel they like being with each other in the room."

He shared, "It's always funny and outrageous, as characters. I have vivid dreams of 'Always Sunny', like Danny DeVito coming out of the couch. Just random things will pop into my mind."

"They've done a great job of telling fun and concise stories. And working with them, makes it very easy and welcoming set. We have a great time working together on set," he added.
