Chase Severino and Whitney Thore got engaged in the beautiful Paris setting, but their relationship did not last long as she recently announced their split. Breaking her silence on social media, Whitney had revealed Chase was set to have a child with another woman. The viewers are getting a chance to see their relationship pan out in the latest season of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Lives'.

The latest episode (November 17) showed the tension that existed between the two. Even though Whitney had her heart set on marriage, she wondered if their relationship was on the right path as Chase and she had a lot to discuss what they wanted out of the relationship. One of the main struggles that the pair found was that they were in a long-distance relationship. Whitney revealed Chase had recently taken a managerial role in a bar and was focusing on building his career around it. However, having a job that regularly requires him to be there was creating tension in their relationship.

The two had earlier discussed that Chase would move in with Whitney as she had her business set up. Unfortunately, that did not seem feasible as Chase hinted he wanted to be present where his job was. To make things worse, the two did not have enough time to spend with each other. The stress on their relationship could be seen easily when Chase stated he can't meet Whitney often due to work. To make things worse, he surprises Whitney by asking her to move in with him. Unfortunately, Whitney does not appreciate this as it was the opposite of what they had discussed.

Seeing Chase change the plans had Whitney questioning their relationship. Meanwhile, seeing how their relationship was playing out, many wondered if Chase was an actor who was hired for the show. "How awkward and uncomfortable. Seeing your fiancé twice a month or less? I think that entire storyline was scripted. Chase’s real girlfriend getting pregnant was not," read one comment.

"This is all staged with paid actors," read another. "It’s all fake he’s an actor," stated another. Some hinted that the relationship was bound to fail from the start as one comment read, "There were so many red flags!! I don’t see how Whitney didn’t know this wasn’t going last." Another added, "Girly you need to open your eyes so you can see red flags. He didn't want you it was just trying to make you feel wanted."

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
