'The Challenge: Double Agents': Who is Josh Martinez? Meet the contestant who threatened to hit Chris Tamburello

'Josh needs to watch some old episodes of CT annihilating Adam, or wearing Johnny Bananas like a backpack,' a fan commented

Joshua 'Josh' Martinez and Chris 'CT' Tamburello share a history, not a very happy and breezy one though. But it was evident that they would be getting on each other's nerves throughout 'The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2' when they got into a nasty fight in the premiere episode itself. What could have been settled peacefully snowballed into a massive fight, which prompted the producers to intervene. Interestingly, later when Josh addressed his tiff with CT on social media, he played it cool and said they went out for drinks and it was all good between them.

But clearly, whatever issues they had with each other were brushed under the carpet because it took them a simple power move to go against each other. Previously, on 'The Challenge: Double Agents' we saw how CT partnered up with Kam Williams, Josh's former partner, while the latter had to pick Nany Gonzalez as his new teammate. The friction had begun and is set to boil over in this week's episode when Josh threatens to "lay out" (hit) CT and that alone served as a major trigger for CT.

Meanwhile, fans were surprised that Josh would even try such a risky move with CT. "Does Josh really think he can take CT in a fight?!?! Like come on bro. Know your limit. Play within it. #TheChallengeDoubleAgents," one commented, while another posted: "Josh really thinking he's a threat & that CT is out for his head #TheChallenge." "Well I really hope we get to see Josh try to lay CT out #TheChallenge," a fan tweeted. "Josh needs to watch some old episodes of CT annihilating Adam, or wearing Johnny Bananas like a backpack, before he comes for him," another pointed out.

So, who is Josh? Josh is a 'Big Brother' Alum (he won season 19 of the CBS-backed show) and 'The Challenge' regular. This is his fourth season. On 'The Challenge: Total Madness' he was around until episode 14 when Kyle Christie beat him at the purgatory. Josh's net worth is at $500,000 reportedly. He may also be earning from his family's hair care company.
