‘Ms Marvel’ Episode 5 Fan Review: ‘Fawad Khan and Mehwish Hayat totally own episode 5’

Fans could not stop raving about performances by Fawad Khan and Mehwish Hayat and said that both actors 'stole the show'

Ms Marvel’ premiered globally in June on Disney +. The series, which has been adapted from the Marvel comics, revolves around Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel. It is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series has been written and created by Bisha K Ali. Produced by Marvel Studios, the series has been helmed by Adil El Farbi and Bilall Fallah. Kevin Feige and Bisha K Ali serve as executive producers of the series.

The official synopsis of 'Ms Marvel' reads, "A great student, an avid gamer, and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right?"

Ever since the fifth episode of the series was released on July 6, fans took to social media to share their opinion about the show and its riveting storyline. The fans praised the performances by Fawad Khan and Mehwish Hayat, who play Hasan and Aisha, respectively. Their emotional and nuanced love story moved them to tears. The fans raved that the accomplished actors stole the show with their acting skills. 

“@MarvelStudios is magic no one can make high quality content like them with pure conviction and #MsMarvel is the perfect example of that the whole partition chapter was total goosebumps and to add cherry on the cake was Fawad khan and Mehwish hayat they totally own episode 5,” said a fan.

“I genuinely love episode 5. The backstory of Aisha and Hasan made me teary. The actors really nailed their performance in bringing the emotion and the importance of their sacrifice in regards to Ms Marvel's origin story. #MsMarvel,” a fan wrote.
