Jason Hawk has been having trouble earning money ever since he injured his hand. Trying to get through the day by pushing himself, Jason knew it was time for him to look for an alternative through which he can make money. One of the easiest ways that he came across was by selling old metal pieces and using others to make blades.

However, to make that dream into a reality, Jason had to take the journey of trying to find metal, that would be gold for him, in the murky water. Once Jason reached the place that his friend has suggested, he could not help but notice that the place was filled with algae and it was difficult to spot what he had been looking for. Trying to find the right material by standing at the edge of the water, Jason looked through the place to see if he could find a gem. While going through, he spotted a piece of metal that had resurfaced on top. Using some material to pull, he managed to get the metal out of the water. Unfortunately, it was not what he had been looking for.

Jason was on a lookout for a specific kind of metal that he was sure would fetch him good money. Without wasting much time, he jumped on to try his luck during the second attempt. This time around, he found a metal that was better than the previous one but still, not the one he had his heart set on. The third time around, Jason was able to spot the metal that he thought would get the cash flowing. When he finally pulled it out, he was ready to take it to his house to see how much money it could bring him. Before finding the worth of that big metal junk, Jason tried to remove all the parts.

Once he was done, Jason checked the condition of the metal to figure out the price he could put on them. While there were some that left him disappointed, there were others that turned out to be a treasure for him. Jason admitted that finding these parts would help him to earn the money that he was not able to due to his injured hand.

'Mountain Men' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on History Channel.
