'Motherland: Fort Salem' Episode 7 Preview: Can Raelle find Scylla before its too late?
The previous episode of 'Motherland: Fort Salem' saw the startling revelation that Scylla Ramshorn (Amalia Holm) was indeed alive after the ferocious attack by the Spree. Scylla was captured by the witches and held captive at Fort Salem while Raelle (Taylor Hickson) moved heaven and earth to find her. The upcoming episode, 'Mother Mycelium' sheds light on General Sarah Alder interrogating Scylla while also focussing on Adil (Tony Giroux) and Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams) as she enlists Raelle to help save a life.
The official synopsis of episode 7 reads: "Abigail forges a connection with Adil, a new visitor to base camp, and pushes a devastated Raelle to help him save a life; Tally uses Gerit as a distraction from her increasingly burdensome secrets; Anacostia delves into Scylla's past."

The promo opens with Scylla being interrogated by Alder presumably in search of the truth. Especially after Tally Craver (Jessica Sutton) reveals to Anacostia that Scylla was actually Spree after seeing her talk to a balloon in the mirror. There is also an action-packed sequence where Raelle gets all the witches down by reciting the biblical verse, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find..."
From the promo, it is pretty evident that Raelle's abilities are far special and with Scylla's disappearance, she's just heightened those abilities due to sheer fury. It is also interesting to see how the Tally-Gerit relationship gets back after the male witch's engagement during the Bellweather cousin wedding.
Popular Fan theory ahead of the 'Mother Mycelium'
Here are a few theories by a fan from the comments section on YouTube.
1. The army struggles to get Syclla to talk so they get someone to look like Raelle to get her to talk and make a deal to get her to betray Spree.
2. Raelle finds out the army took Syclla and goes on a rampage. She finds Scylla and discovers who she really is and finds out about why the army wanted Raelle so bad (maybe her mother was secretly in Spree). This might get Raelle to join Spree with Scylla.
3. The army has a secret that makes them more of a threat than the Spree. Tally and Abigail could join Spree.
