A mother who allegedly used her sick son's charity money of £10,000 (nearly $12,700) to fund a boob job and a car for herself, has been quizzed by authorities over the allegations. Hailing from Sawley, Derbys, 29-year-old Natalie Webster was arrested on suspicion of fraud over claims that she had used her child's heart condition as a reason to scam donors out of thousands of pounds.

Natalie was caught after neighbors went to her home when they heard that only $5,337 out of $12704 (£4,200 out of £10,000) had been given to charity Heart Link. One of the donators, Billie Ferris who asked for her donation back, had posted, "Funny how she's just had a boob job, bought a new car and her kids are dripping in gold, yet last year she couldn’t rub two brass pennies together."

Natalie, a mother of five children, had set up a raffle after her infant son had a heart operation. She had also set up a GoFundMe page. Last month, her partner Ryan Poynton had even posted a thank you message to people who donated, according to The Sun. "We really appreciate it as we still have another four to five weeks of hospital yet," he had said. However, as word of the money supposedly not reaching the charity Heart Link, angry donors gathered outside her home in Sawley, Derbys, and began to demand their money back.

"It was mayhem. They were banging on her doors and windows demanding to see her," one neighbor revealed. "It was a good job the police came because we were worried there was going to be a bloody riot." On Sunday, June 7, Natalie was seen being arrested. The Derbyshire Police shared, "The force has received reports of fraud in relation to a charity raffle."

We had reported another bizarre case where a mother who was accused of murdering her baby was called out for being 'manipulative' for having a GoFundMe account for the baby's funeral costs. The mother, 24-year-old Victoria Jackson, had allegedly told her friend that she had smothered her 10-month-old baby, Malachi, to death. Authorities in Clearwater, Florida were notified when the baby boy was found unresponsive. According to a local news station, ABC Action News, the mother was charged with first-degree murder post the death of her baby boy.

Following the child's death, Jackson started a GoFundMe page for the funeral expenses and raised around $4,300 (£3,300) before the page was shut down. One contributor, Marah Gonzales, a friend of the mother, shared, "Tragedy is a time where you need to be the most compassionate and loving and kind and she totally just took advantage of that."

"No one knew the real story of what happened other than her and whatever friend that she told. It was just kind of so manipulative to the point she was consistently reaching out and consistently like please donate to this, and this, but with very, very little details," Gonzales shared. "It's definitely a tragedy but it's definitely like a sobering thing to understand things like this do happen and it’s tragic and it’s how can we as a community get better from it like how can we grow from it."
