Mother charged with child cruelty for 'waterboarding' her infant daughter for waking her up at night

A South Carolina mother who was seen "waterboarding" her baby daughter in a distressing Facebook video has now been charged with child cruelty.
According to police, Caitlyn Alyse Hardy, 33, posted a footage on the social media website showing her pouring water over the sleeping child twice, leading to her arrest on Wednesday, Daily Mail reports.
"Payback for waking me up all kinda times of da night," read the caption under Hardy's original post, screenshots of which circulated on social media after it was taken down.
