33-year-old Lamar Davenport was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the brutal murder of Morgan Freeman's step-granddaughter E'Dena Hines on August 16 in 2015
The sentencing of the man who killed Morgan Freeman's step-granddaughter E'Dena Hines was an emotional and dramatic one as the mother of the accused screamed that the Oscar winner was to blame as he "sexually abused" the victim. 33-year-old Lamar Davenport was sentenced to 20 years in prison with an additional five years of post-release supervision.
As reported by Page Six, Davenport's mother had to be ushered out of the New York court on Thursday after screaming comments like, "Morgan Freeman molested her and he caused this." The allegations of an affair between Freeman and his step-granddaughter were made by the defense. She said, "He's innocent! It was an accident!" referring to her son when he received his sentence.
