The upcoming season will center on the notorious case of the Menendez brothers, who gained infamy for killing their wealthy parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in their Beverly Hills home in 1989.
Aged 21 and 18 when they committed the crime, the brothers claimed they acted in self-defense, citing years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. However, the prosecution argued that their motive was greed and the desire to inherit their parents' fortune.
