Bucks vs Heat: Fans call for coach Budenholzer's firing after Milwaukee's 3-0 loss, ask him to "pack his bags"

Milwaukee Bucks coach, Mike Budenholzer has been in the firing line for quite some time now. After coaching the Bucks since 2018, this season, especially the playoffs, have seen him copping flak for sticking to his gameplan instead of adapting to the situation on the court. This was given as one of the reasons for the Bucks going down 2-0, but with the third game slipping away, fans have called for Budenholzer to be fired.

Bucks were overpowered again 115-100 by Miami on Friday with Antetokounmpo chipping in with 21 points. Jimmy Butler did it for Miami with 30 points. 

In Giannis Antetokounmpo Budenholzer has a solid, proven matchwinner, but nothing much as actually been done to use the 'Greek freak' to help them progress. His successful moves in the regular season are a stalemate and Budenholzer's feeling the pressure. "the craziest storyline of the playoffs is coach bud deciding that Giannis can only play 10 minutes a game NO MATTER WHAT," a fan wrote.

"Coach Bud needs to be fired if they lose this game. Not even the series," opined one of the fans.

"I would fire coach Bud before game 4 if I was a billionaire. I don’t care lmao foh. 34 minutes??????" a shocked fan wrote.

The fact he played Giannis less than 35 minutes was hard to digest for fans and sports pundits. Some thought the writing was already on the wall. "Don’t think coach Bud is gonna have to wait much longer to see the family," a tweet read.

That the Bucks are sticklers for routine doesn't come as a surprise. So while they may have developed a winning habit it becomes predictable for teams that analyze their gameplay. Especially with elite teams in the fray. "Coach Bud has now coached the two most fraudulent 1 Seeds ever. Terrible playoff coach," a fan reckoned.

And the calls for firing just continued. "If they fire coach Bud...maybe...he’s terrible," a fan wrote.

"Lowry played 46.5 minutes yesterday in a must-win. That’s what a good coach does. It’s the playoffs, in a must-win. Embarrassing. Pack your bags Bud you’re getting fired in the happiest place on Earth," read one of the comments.

With this the question remains: Will Budenholzer ring in the changes ahead of Game 4? Time is running out for the Bucks and their next match on Sunday is now a must-win affair, fans will hope for some positive results.
