Was Joey really hurt by April's rejection? 'MILF Manor' star sets 20-year-old 'free' to date Emma

Despite knowing that Pola's daughter Emma has feelings for him, Joey went on to choose April on the final day of TLC's dating show

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO: The finale episode of 'MILF Manor' broke some hearts and at the same time mended some. Gabriel and Steffany left the show as a couple and are speculated to still be dating in real life. On the other hand, Pola and Ryan also gave a chance to their relationship.

But, it seems things were not all hunky dory for April and Joey. Despite knowing that Pola's daughter Emma has feelings for him, Joey went on to choose April on the final day of TLC's dating show. Well, he didn't say no to Emma as well. When Emma asked for Joey's phone number, the 'MILF Manor' star gave it to her without showing any concern. This indeed let fans believe that Joey was trying to get all he could, whether it be Emma or April. However, fans did not find April to be the right one for Joey. Keep reading to know more.

April tells Joey 'you are free'

Joey confessed in the finale episode that he would like to date April outside the show. However, it seems that April did not have the same feelings. And Emma played the main part in being the reason for the couple not continuing their relationship. April tells Joey, "As a 20-year-old man, I'm sure this will appeal to you, 'You are free Joey.'" She added, "Free to be close to be and close to someone else." Well, April's further statement cleared up why she was freeing Joey from her life. The star claimed, "If, for example, you would like to see where things go with Emma, and it goes from there, you have my blessing." They then hugged and let each other go. 

Was Joey really hurt?

Joey said in a confessional, "I'm a little hurt, by the way, April let me down in her letter." What Joey further said hinted that he might be interested in Emma. The star said, "I really do hope to find someone with a soul connection. It could be Emma, could be someone five years down that road."  That indeed means that Joey is thinking of Emma to be his potential match. April and Joey then stated later, "We are leaving the villa as BFFs."

Fans couldn't grasp the fact that Joey was ready to date April in the real world. A fan tweeted, "Joey wants to date April Jayne outside the Villa? I am legit shocked." Another shocked fan uploaded a gif and said, "Shooketh to the core." He captioned it, "SAME! How? Why? I am shook."

A fan questioned Joey's intention and wrote, "Joey is a 20 year old who cant even legally drink alcohol yet. Is he ready to be with April? Long term?" Moreover, a fan said Joey was clever, bagging April's kiss and Pola's daughter's phone number. The fan tweeted, "Joey comes in clutch at the end scoring Pola‘s daughter’s number and a kiss from April."
