Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should be allowed to run for president as she is a natural leader, says Michael Moore
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore, who is known for his overt liberal political stance, on Saturday showed his support for the youngest Congresswoman ever elected in the country's history, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and said that she should be allowed to be run for the 2020 presidency. Moore said that he wished constitutional age restriction for those who had the potential to run for the White House could be rescinded.
Moore, while appearing on MSNBC's The Last Word, said that the primary factor for Democratic voters should be "who can crush Trump." The filmmaker made the statement while he was discussing the list of candidates who have declared their intention to run for the 2020 presidential elections. Moore said: "It's too bad you have to be 35 to be president. We put that in the constitution, the Founding Fathers, because people died at 38 or 40 back then. Y'know, we need to lower that. If that was lowered to 30 ..."
