Billionaire former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg has found a new way to attack President Donald Trump. Bloomberg has put up billboards trolling the President for eating burnt steak, cheating at golf and losing the popular vote in several Western states this week.

Michael Bloomberg's presidential campaign has employed serval tactics to get everyone’s attention. With almost $400M of TV ads — almost 10 times more than Senator Bernie Sanders has spent on ads — to other less conventional ideas, this latest one has been a hit on social media.

Rather than focusing on his opponents in the Democratic primary, Bloomberg is attempting to position himself as the strongest general election candidate.

According to Business Insider, Bloomberg is not on the ballot in the Nevada caucus but when Trump visits Las Vegas and Phoenix for campaign events on February 28, he will be met with the prominent billboards mocking him on the Vegas Strip and major highways in Arizona.

Earlier, Trump had nicknamed Bloomberg "Mini Mike", a reference to his physical stature. "Mini Mike Bloomberg's debate performance tonight was perhaps the worst in the history of debates, and there have been some really bad ones," Trump tweeted on February 19. "He was stumbling, bumbling and grossly incompetent. If this doesn't knock him out of the race, nothing will. Not so easy to do what I did!"

Critics have mocked the billboards, calling them elitist for bringing up the golfing habits of two billionaires. The campaign could also have been an attempt to shift focus. Bloomberg's debate performance on February 19 has been widely panned. He spent the most money on that stage and he spoke the least, coming in at 13 minutes and 6 seconds, just behind Joe Biden.

At the same debate, Senator Elizabeth Warren said, "I’d like to talk about who we're running against, a billionaire who calls women 'fat broads' and 'horse-faced lesbians'. And, no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg."
