Former porn star and adult icon Mia Khalifa debunked the rumors around her own death by sharing a hilarious meme from her own Twitter account. The death hoax surfaced after Facebook mistakenly turned her official account to a memorial page titled 'Remembering Mia Khalifa'. Millions of her fans across the world were left shocked as her active FB page only showed a cover photo of hers and no profile picture.

The message on the page read, “Remembering Mia Khalifa. We hope that people who love Mia Khalifa will find comfort in visiting their profile to remember and celebrate their life.” Moreover, all her photos and videos disappeared and space was created for her friends and family “to remember and honor them.” Hours later, Khalifa herself put the rumors to rest with a meme, which highlighted a scene from the 1975 movie 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. The meme read, "Bring out yer dead!!" followed by "I'm not dead yet! I feel fine."

The actress did not make any other comments in the caption and has not shared any social media post thereafter. While it is confirmed that her death rumors were completely a hoax, it is still unclear what happened to her Facebook page. Some fans say it was hacked while others believe it was changed inadvertently due to some oversight on Facebook's part.

Khalifa has been a victim of death hoax before as well, when rumors surfaced in June 2020 that she had committed suicide. She debunked the rumors with a funny tweet then also, saying, "Please don’t think I’m not keeping track of each of my friends that haven’t sent condolence flowers yet…”

Khalifa had earlier faced death threats from ISIS over her infamous hijab sex scene. The terrorist organization had claimed to behead her and also hacked her Instagram account and shared jihadi propaganda through it before the page was taken down by the social media company. In March 2021, she recalled that horrific time during the ‘Call Her Daddy' interview.

When host Alexandra Cooper asked, “To have the most isolating feeling, you're alone, you have people sending you death threats and your family at the time not supporting you, how did you get here today? A lot of people wouldn't have been able to get through that”, Khalifa replied: “So, I don't know where I was because that is around the time I started disassociating and just compartmentalizing and pretending like things never happened to the point where I didn't talk about porn for the first like three years after, I just went quiet and never spoke about it.”
