It is no question that May 19th is going a big day for the Royal Family with the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. While their wedding will be a public affair, their honeymoon is a secret and can only leave us guessing where the newly-weds will jet set off to. There is no doubt that they will choose to go somewhere very private.

It is possible that Prince Harry and Meghan could choose the Indian Ocean islands for a perfect and private getaway due to its remote location and lack of paparazzi. The weather is also fantastic during the time of their wedding, but then, it is also very likely that they could jet to multiple locations.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana had their honeymoon in two parts; they stayed at the Queen's Scottish estate of Balmoral after their wedding, following which they went on a two-week cruise around the Mediterranean.

On Meghan Markle's previously active lifestyle blog, she had expressed her love for many European destinations such as Capri, Hydra, Formentera, and Positano. On Meghan and Harry's third date, the prince reportedly whisked her off to Botswana, Africa, and they soon got engaged after that.

In the couples BBC interview after the engagement, Prince Harry reportedly said, "We were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure we had a chance to get to know each other." When Prince Harry proposed to Meghan, he did so with a beautiful diamond which came from Botswana.

Hopefully, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will have a great honeymoon unlike Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Princess Diana reportedly told journalist Andrew Morton that Prince Charles was a lot more interested in painting and reading rather than spending time together.

Kate Middleton and Prince William went off for 10 days to the Seychelles where they stayed at a private villa for over $5,000 a night. The villa even had its own private butler. This vacation spot is said to be the couples favorite and they had previously visited the islands in the year 2007.
