Rachel Zane fans, you may just see your favorite paralegal once again on 'Suits'. According to a report, Meghan Markle could possibly make a cameo in the next season of NBC's law firm drama.

She reportedly will be making the appearance for charity and the proceeds for the cameo could run up to millions. As Meghan Markle is currently pregnant, it is possible that the character would also be in a similar situation on the show.

The filming, of course, would have to be in the UK. "We could be done in half a day or less," a senior production source told Daily Star.

He added, "No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future. I’ve heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around, and that sounds a lot – but it would be one of the biggest marketing coups in TV history."

At the end of Meghan's time as Rachel, the character married longtime boyfriend Mike after he was released from jail and the two moved away from Pearson Specter Litt. Patrick J. Adams played her onscreen lover Mike Ross, the protagonist of the show. Both of them left the show at the same time in April last year.

A source also revealed that the storyline could potentially mirror her real life. "We could create a storyline where Rachel and Mike have created new lives for themselves and are starting a family, with Rachel showing an obvious baby bump. I believe we could get away with only one or two lines from Rachel, perhaps saying how she would never have believed she would have such a wonderful life. This particular route would beautifully mirror real life."

"It would give one or several charities a big boost, portray Meghan as a thoroughly modern royal — and give us one of the biggest ratings blockbusters of our existence," the source said.

It would also get the show its much-needed viewers and ratings. With Meghan's fan following today, it could take the show to new heights with just a cameo. We all know that season 7 didn't quite have the charm after Rachel and Mike were gone and, throughout the first half of season 8, loyal fans could definitely sense something missing. The show is back for the final half of the season on January 23.

A former 'Suits' colleague has also said that the show would give anything to bring those two back. "This is all supposed to be hush, hush but it’s a bit of an open secret that they’d do anything to get her and Patrick back as guest stars," said the colleague to the publication.
