Sons of Anarchy's beloved character Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) will be reprising his role in the upcoming episode

Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 8 'Kukulkan' of 'Mayans MC'

Last week's episode 'Tohil' saw Bishop (Michael Irby) leading the Mayans MC to shut a human trafficking operation from Mexico to the United States. The club took down the rival Mexican MC called Vatos Malditos after they came to the Mayans backyard to commit their crimes.

It was Coco's (Richard Cabral) daughter Leti (Emily Tosta) who brought the issue to the Mayans. Vatos Malditos was holding her friend Gabriela's mother and brother hostage for money.

The takedown also featured an emotional conversation between Bishop, EZ (JD Pardo) and Angel (Clayton Cardenas).  "Do you know what separates us from all the other scumbags, gives us the courage to look into the mirror?" Bishop asks them.

"This f*****g piece of leather," he says pointing to his patch. "The history that hangs on it. It means I've earned the respect of men, men I love, men I'd die for. Men who'd die for me. The money, the weight, it can't lead. We have to serve something greater," he said.

And now, amid the sacking of creator Kurt Sutter because of his attitude, the makers are bringing a crossover episode featuring a big 'Sons of Anarchy' character along.

The beloved character Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) will be reprising his role in the upcoming episode.

Fans of the two Sutter shows cannot contain themselves. "I literally cheered and jump out my seat when I saw Chibbs, Jackie boyyy," said one. "Finally, the reaper crew is here to clean some shit up," said another.

And there are those who sure are looking forward to the SAMCRO cameo but hope the show will stick to the Mayans club. "I see all these comments. And yes, I'm excited to see SAMCRO make an appearance. But remember boys and girls, this is the Mayans turn to shine as a show. Like Happy said, Jax would want me to help. So embrace the Mayans," said a fan.

With episode eight already here, season two of 'Mayans MC' will soon be coming to an end, which is not such good news because the future of the series remains uncertain.

This leads fans to theorize that the creators have made use of the SAMCRO appearances to boost ratings and viewerships.

"Showing Chibs during the preview was to hype the show on social media and have the rating numbers grow this week with all Soms fans that are not watching Mayans... which like you said makes the viewers like idiots but what I do know! Now fans will watch this episode and that's it when they watch the preview and don’t see any SAMCRO in next week’s episode! Don’t get me wrong, I'm a huge SOA fan but I don’t like that they need to bring SAMCRO into Mayans to get ratings," noted a fan.

The promo also shows Potter (Ray McKinnon) meeting the Reyes brothers asking them to tell him everything. He threatens them that he will inform Ice about the truth about Felipe Reyes and have him picked up.

'Mayans MC' airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm on FX.
