'Masters of the Universe: Revelation: Part 2': 5 things to know about He-Man's return

'Masters of the Universe: Revelations' ended with a cliffhanger as Skeletor acquired the Power of Grayskull as he stabbed Prince Adam to death. This was the second time the character died in the five-episode first part of the animated series. The new season set up Teela as the one to save Eternia from the forces of evil after Adam's apparent death. The season first premiered on July 23 with Netflix rebooting the original 1983 animated series, 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.'

Created by Kevin Smith, the animated series offers a more violent outlook to the 80s epic and also fleshes the characters in detail. Part 2 will comprise of five episodes of 30 minutes each and the storyline will be about Teela and the remaining heroes solving the mystery of the missing Sword of Power. Ahead of the release of Part 2, here's everything you need to know.

The official synopsis reads: "The war for Eternia continues in the second part of “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off. With Skeletor now wielding the Sword of Power, the weary heroes of Eternia must band together to fight back against the forces of evil in a thrilling and epic conclusion to the two-part series."
