'Marvel's Runaways' is coming to Freeform right after the 'Cloak & Dagger' season 1 finale
'Marvel's Cloak and Dagger' is currently the hot favorite on TV. Shinning the spotlight on a pair of teenagers, whose realization about their superpowers comes with its own set of challenges, the Freeform series has successfully tapped into a younger and fresher audience for the genre. And come Thursday night, we are all headed towards a final showdown, with the show sealing the fates (for the time being) of leading duo Tandy and Tyrone.
While all eyes will undoubtedly be on the superheroes-to-be, another bunch of supers 'Marvel's Runaways' are also headed in Freeform's direction. In a first-of-its-kind partnership between the network and premium streaming service, Hulu, Freeform is all set to air the first episode of 'Marvel’s Runaways' on Thursday night (August 2), shortly after the 'Cloak & Dagger' finale. This would mark the linear debut of the original Hulu series, which has proven to be a major hit for the streaming service.
