Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd were the only couple who survived Season 10 of 'Married At First Sight', and that was what put them on the spin-off quarantine special show — 'Married At First Sight: Couples' Cam'. They share a perfect, loving relationship but the pandemic has impacted it adversely.

Jessica has recently been promoted and is now in charge of a Covid-19 unit. Although she is thrilled about the new opportunity, it has bothered Austin. He has been open about his concerns with regard to her work situation but every time they try and have a discussion about this, the couple ends up having disagreements. In this week's episode too, after Jessica shared how quickly a Covid-19 patient can deteriorate, Austin was worried. He was open about his fear and him not being able to protect her put him on the edge.

But Jessica took it in a different direction. Although she appreciated Austin looking out for her, her first thought was maybe Austin was more scared of Jessica getting the virus home. By the end of their discussion, she was able to convince Austin that there was nothing to worry about and that she and her colleagues at work have been taking necessary precautions — wearing masks at all times and washing their hands as often as they can and should. Jessica puts up a brave front. Facing the pandemic head-on and saving lives while millions sit at home in fear is courageous, but this week she lost her strength. "I am so ready for it to be over," Jessica said as she cried inconsolably.

Meanwhile, some fans have raised concerns about Jessica's attitude towards Austin, which has been a constant opinion on social media ever since the show has aired. "I don't like Jessica's attitude towards Austin when he tells her he's worried about her while she's working on the frontlines of Covid-19. #MarriedAtFirstSight #CouplesCam," a fan shared, while another wrote: "I’m starting to like her less and less." Another said, "Congratulations on your promotion! Take it easy on Austin — he loves you and wants you with him for the duration." Another viewer tweeted, "She totally blew that opportunity to connect... clearly he knows you don't need him to protect you; that he wanted to is what was not honored," a viewer had tweeted.
