DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 had a three-hour-long premiere featuring an introduction of singles and their families, a wedding, and an after party. However, the viewers found the episode quite lengthy and filled with irrelevant details.

'MAFS' Season 17 kicked off by introducing Michael, who was nervous and excited about potentially finding his true love on the show. Later, the viewers were introduced to other singles looking for love in Denver.

However, among the five couples, only one got married in the premiere episode. Emily Balch walked down the aisle and met Brennan Shoykhet for the first time, and the pair officially got hitched.

Meanwhile, the viewers slammed the Lifetime show for the three-hour premiere and which just featured one wedding. An X user tweeted, "Three hours. Why tf is this three hours without anything important but the weddings."

Another person added, "They didn't even show all the weddings....literally why. I watched maybe 10 minutes of that god awful waste of time episode."

Another user wrote, "Why does #MAFS drag everything out. We won't need 8 hour episodes when they're boring af."

Another viewer said, "We're back, y'all ready for a wild new season #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight ?!! But seriously....a 3 hour first episode?! 3 hours?? 🤪"

Another critic noted, "Ugh, Tonight’s episode was another dumb boring filler episode. 🙄"

Another social media user wrote, "So they were on for two hours and they only showed 1 wedding? I wish they would skip... this most boring part of the show.😴."

In the premiere episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, all eight singles had a blast in a group bachelorette party and bachelor party. The singles appeared to be into the festivities, especially Emily Balch, who turned up the party vibes.

However, Emily's groom Brennan Shoykhet reportedly ended up in the emergency room. According to a 'MAFS' Instagram fan account, a source shared that people got very drunk at the party and Brennan had to go to the ER.
